Farmworker Paramjit Kaur Chahal finally gets her back wages almost five years after being unjustly fired from the Choi Mushroom Farm when she signed a union card. The farmer eventually sold the farm, but with the help of the B.C. Law Union, the CFU got $35,000 in back wages for the workers. " We are happy that the union has always helped us, even after the decertification. The farm was sold but the farmworkers' union continued to fight for us and today we have the cheques in our hands." - Farmworker Paramjit Kaur Chandal, Dec. 14, 1987
